I wandered into a Borders the other day, drawn by their colorful going out of business signs. Oddly, I found seven books that I wanted and only spent about $15. One of the books I was surprised to see was an updated edition of The Alphabet of Manliness. I was surprised because, 1) I didn’t know there was an updated version with additional content and, 2) I didn’t think they would have books of that caliber remaining.
Obviously, caliber is a sliding scale.
