Confused? There is a restaurant in San Fransisco, Bacon Bacon, and some neighbors don’t like the fact that their neighborhood now smells like bacon all the time. Doesn’t really sound like a problem to me… especially since we avoided the aPORKalypse and bacon is still plentiful and affordable. There are two potential scenarios where I can envision pervasive bacon smell being an issue.
- You’re Jewish, Muslim, vegetarian or belong to some other group that shuns the ambrosia-like deliciousness that is bacon. You should view having a bacon-themed restaurant not as an affront to your beliefs, but rather is a test of your faith. Is your resolve enough to resist temptation? If it was, you wouldn’t be trying to close a bacon themed restaurant.
- You take joy in the suffering of others and want to deny them what they love; bacon. For shame…
