Here’s another reason why I own a Kindle, don’t buy used books, and steer clear of libraries. Seems like a few scientists tested some library copies of 50 Shades of Gray and they were contaminated with the herpes virus. Hey, that’s awesome. Reminds me of the time I rented Ice Pirates…
On the plus side, the books also contained traces of cocaine.

I’ve watched Star Wars countless times; both the original theatrical version and the versions that Lucas “fixed” and I must say I NEVER once noticed this. Look closely at the below clip:
It’s hard to see, but but Alderaan clearly shoots first! This puts the whole trilogy in a whole new light.
In other Alderaan and Death Star related news, my six year old son is into both Legos and Star Wars (shocking, I know). He was asking for either the Lego Death Star or the Super Star Destroyer but those are ridiculously expensive. So, I got him Lego Alderaan instead:

So I’ve been busy lately doing… stuff and things. Books aren’t going to read themselves (well, unless you get the audio version) and noobs are in need of dominating (they’ll never learn, otherwise). Oh, and that pesky shutdown thing that, despite the government’s efforts, people don’t seem to care all that much about. Here’s one of the many governmental bureau’s that has been, sadly, shut down.
