Car insurance, flood insurance, ,life insurance, etc, etc, etc… Well, now you can buy insurance for your fantasy football team. It’s called Fantasy Player Protect, and for about $20 you can recoup some of your investment if your star players miss large amounts of time due to injury. This is only good for pay leagues, of course, and is another herald of the end times. I guess this kind of thing makes sense, since insurance is really just another form of gambling. The insurance company is betting they won’t pay out, and you’re betting it will. It’s like you’re doubling your chance at losing getting the excitement of gambling twice on one bet!
