Monday Links

As you may have noticed, we’ve been on somewhat of a sporadic post streak lately. I’ve been quite busy lately with work, I’m reading a lot of books, and a little thing called Skyrim (although I haven’t even been able to play that for a few weeks). I hope to be back with the regular posts and original content soon.

Our first link concerns the future super-continent called Amasia. This is the creative name of the merger of America and Asia. They’ve tried this once before… sort of.

Looks like ninja’s are after North Korea’s new leader Kim Jong-Un. New reports say they failed.

Just one more reason not to be a rap promoter. I’ve never heard of either of these twits, but if these were my clients, I’d be more than a little upset. Plus, the rappers hat looks like the tip of a condom (insert dickhead joke here… and insert joke about dickhead inserting here).

Finally, I think she failed her class.

Putting Greedy Old People In Their Place

Good point… greedy old bastards. If I ever sell stuff on this site, I’m going to follow the same policy.

10th President of USA has TWO living GRANDsons… and he’s been dead for 140 years.

So, it turns out John Tyler, America’s 10th President still has surviving grandsons. Not great-great-great grandsons, actual grandsons. Apparently Tyler, who was born in 1790(!) and died before the Civil freakin’ War, was “active” later in life. You go gramps!

Read the story here.

Alaskan Congressman Concerned for Central Park

So, the folks from Alaska crying hypocrisy and trying to get Congress to “declare Central Park to be a wilderness area and to prohibit any further improvement or development of Central Park unless authorized by an act of Congress.”

Spanish Man Pisses off the Wrong Bull

Bull sports (fighting, running, and who knows what the hell else) always seemed pointless to me in the “hey, let’s risk our lives for no apparent reason” kind of way (not to mention their inherent cruelty… oh wait, I just did). It appears they are pressed for time in Spain because they have merged the traditional pregame BBQ with an actual bull running event. I’m not sure who had the idea of lighting the bulls on fire before letting them loose, but it doesn’t seem like a terribly good idea. Especially for the guy who died after being gored by one of these bulls (I guess there was no wound cauterization benefit going on). And you thought American rednecks were stupid.

Here’s the story.
