Round #1 Results and Round #2 Poll

Well, round #1 has come to a close! Thanks to all that voted. I hope you’ll continue to vote for your favorites or, if your favorite was eliminated, you continue to vote out of spite to sabotage the process. Me, I’ve learned a four things in the last week:

  1. World Cup fans in Brazil are looking for things to do between games (or, perhaps, to pass the time as the game drags by). After the US, Brazil has been the most popular visitor to the site in the last week (with 8 whole unique visitors!).
  2. Don’t have the final two polls on an absolutely gorgeous weekend; no one’s going to vote. That’s OK, I hold the tie-breaking vote.
  3. People like odd numbers. All #1 and #3 seeds advanced. That’s OK, in the next poll, #2 and #4 seeds will get even.
  4. Dogs don’t hatch from eggs.
